The 5th Annual Troop E Bass Tournament is Saturday, May 30th at the Red River Grand Ecore boat launch. There's a $5,000 guaranteed 1st Place, based on 50 boat entry. 100% of the proceeds are split between the Louisiana State Police Troopers Association and Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Cenla Fly Fishing Festival is Saturday, May 30th from 8:30am to 3:30pm at Kees Park Community Center on Hwy 28 East in Pineville. Activities include seminars, casting instruction, fly tying demonstrations, exhibitors, and much more! There are presentations for all levels from newbies to advanced. While this event is FREE, a Jambalaya Lunch will be available for a nominal fee. There will also be a Raffle and Silent Auction proceeds benefitting the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
